6/17

On this awesome Tuesdays we read the story How to Catch a Mermaid. We emphasized working on social skills today and learning about ocean animals!

We created our own little ocean by coloring the sea and coloring fish!

We listened to songs about ocean animals and worked together to sort  land vs. sea items on the smart board.

Then, we kept with the same task in an interactive book. Activities like this help us to practice listening to directions and turn taking.

Our science of the day was spraying ice with spray bottles in order for it to melt! It took some time but it was cool to see the process. This activity also helped us to strengthen our little finger muscles which is important for so many things, like writing and tying our shoes!

Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day and see you tomorrow!
